Born in Hamburg in 1987 and raised here — photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

For me, photography means switching off. Finding light and shadow, and passing on the kind of beauty that moves me, so that others can see it too.

What fascinates me about street photography is the moment itself: a picture that will never happen the same way again. A building or a coastline will still be there tomorrow — on the street, the scene is different every time. Wandering through a city in search of that moment makes everything else disappear.

It started with a Sony α58, then an α7 and α7R. Street photography brought me to the Leica Q3, and the wish for even more minimalism to the Leica M11.

Photography is my passion.
